Battle of the Business is an annual event organised by ABC Church to raise money for BBC Children in Need. Each year teams from local businesses and organisations compete in a Pub Quiz challenge in an effort to win the coveted Battle of the Businesses Trophy.
2008 Battle of the Businesses
£2,034.00 was raised by all the organisations who supported the event. 13 Teams competed for the coveted "Battle of the Business" shield on Thursday 13th November 2008 at the Mountain Gate Inn. Finally after 4 attempts, not only did the Morgan Marine Managers beat the Morgan Marine Fitters, but they took away the title from Ultimate Windows! More and pictures

Ultimate Windows beat the closest competitors by a clear 9 points to retain the BoB trophy for the second year in a row. In what was dubbed as the toughest battle in years, the team vowed to come back and defend it next year. More and pictures
