The theme for the 2008 carnival parade was" films". After much discussion, it was decided that ABC would do 'films down the years' starting with Charlie Chaplin, Laurel and Hardy, Marilyn Monroe, Star Wars, Shrek 3, Wizard of Oz, High School Musical, The Flinstones and then came right up to date with Kung Fu Panda. With fantastic constructions such as the millennium falcon spaceship from star wars and an almost full size dragon from Shrek 3, we amazed the crowds as we walked through the streets of Ammanford. Performing sketches from Laurel and Hardy (aka MJ and James), soaking people with water guns from Star Wars Jedi nights and all the high school musical cast with a superb dance routine to 'we're all in this together' we also impressed the judges and came first again this year. Well done everyone!
