ABC play their first league match next Saturday 20th September when they entertain Brackla Tabernacle, Bridgend at Mynydd Newydd Playing Fields in Swansea. The kick off is at 10.30 a.m. and the referee is Mr. Kevin Elsey. ABC are hoping to start the season well and should be able to pick from a strong squad next weekend. However, with a few players still unavailable due to injury, holidays and other commitments it will be two or three weeks yet before ABC are able to field their strongest line-up.
 
ABC were due to start their campaign away to Rhiwbina Baptist, Cardiff on Saturday 13 September but the match was postponed due to the sheer volume of rain that had saturated the pitches in Cardiff this past week.
 
We are also delighted to announce the signings of John Casey, Mark Jenkins and Tim Oakes. John is a solid, powerful and reliable centre half whilst Mark is a right back who is fairly new to the UCL. Tim is an excellent midfielder or striker who is greatly admired by everyone in the UCL league for his footballing ability and the general quality of this play . Tim is a leader at Linden Christian Fellowship in Swansea. These acquisitions will add further real competition for places and should prove real assets to what is becoming a good, rounded and flexible squad at ABC of approx. 22 players. On our day we should be able to put out a squad and a team that will threaten any team in this division!
